Quick Visit From the Cousins

The boys were eager for Mamaw and Papaw to get here so they could play with their big cousins.

Evan hung out with Mamaw on the steps, while Papaw talked to Daddy.

Aubrey led  Grant around in the bumble bee floaty.

Caleb tried to shoot Noah with water.

Noah enjoyed the deep end of the pool.

Everyone was sucking their thumb just like Evan does.

Grant thought Papaw needed help figuring out how to install the electrical box.

Making S'mores

S'more face!

No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem!

Doesn't everyone play in their front yard in their underwear or diaper?

Ornery Little Boys

Having fun outside.

I love watching them sleep.

I caught them messing around on my computer.

June 22, 2013

Grandma and Grandpa Schnittker and Aunt Tara came over to have lunch and swim with us. Evan still wasn't too sure about getting into the water. After a lot of persuasion and even forcing him into the water, he finally became a little bit more comfortable with "swimming."

Mommy tried to get Evan to swim with a noodle.

Aunt Tara and Grandpa Schnittker tried to get Evan to swim.

Grant was playing with Daddy and Grandma Schnittker on the steps.

Mason's Baseball Game

On June 21 I took the boys to watch their cousin Mason play baseball. They did watch him bat once or twice, but they were very easily distracted by the other kids who wanted to play in our little wagon. They also spent most of their time playing in the dirt. There was a baseball field without a game being played on it, so the boys took full advantage of all of the dirt. Just like most other nights this summer, the boys were filthy!

Grant was showing off his nice "farmer's tan."

Cedar Point

On June 20, we took the boys to Cedar Point for the first time. They had so much fun and so did Mommy and Daddy! I was a nervous wreck when we were in the Ferris Wheel waiting at the very top while people were unloading and loading into the carts. Grant would not sit still and wanted to get off of my lap. He just kept squirming and fighting me and I was holding on to him for dear life. He didn't understand why I wouldn't let him down to walk around or even stand on the seat and look out of the cart. I was so glad when the ride finally started moving and even happier when we were the first carts to be unloaded when the ride was over! Never again will I take the boys on the Ferris Wheel! At least not until they are old enough to understand why they need to sit still.

Mommy and Evan right before the Junior Gemini took off.

Evan and I were in the red part of the Junior Gemini. He loved it!

Grant and I waiting while Daddy and Evan rode the Woodstock Express.

Daddy and Evan were in the very front!

Daddy and Grant watched Evan ride on a car by himself.

Daddy rode along with Evan.

Mommy and Grant hung out while Daddy and Evan rode a few rides together.

Sticking out their tongues for the camera on The Woodstock Express.

Heading to the van after a very fun, but long day.
