More Teething Woes

Evan has been extremely grouchy the last couple of days and hasn't slept well at all (and neither have we). He has been sneezing with incredible amounts of snot (I have no idea where it all comes from), and he just started coughing a little bit last night. I feel so bad for him because I know he is in pain and I cannot wait until these molars finally come in!

Shoving mashed potatoes into his mouth as he cries.

Mashed potatoes all over his hands and face.

Phone Fanatic

Evan loves to play with our phones whenever he can get his hands on them. We have had to put a passcode lock on our phones because he figured out how to call someone a few months ago. Even with the passcode he is able to take pictures and get it to the point where he could make an emergency call. Needless to say, we have to keep a close eye on him when he is playing with our phones.

Trying to text his friend.

He decided to call instead.

"Talking" to someone on Mommy's phone.

What's in the Attic?

Nick and I were trying to clean the garage up a little bit this past weekend and of course Evan had to help. Nick had the attic ladder down and Evan wanted to see what was up in the attic. He climbed up to the 5th step on his own before Nick made him stop.

Learning to Drive Already?

One day last week when it was so nice, we played out in the driveway for quite a while. Evan wanted to play in the front seat of the truck so we let him explore for a little bit.

Evan was pondering whether or not he should play with the the steering wheel.

Checking out all of the gadgets around the steering wheel.

Thankfully he didn't figure out how to honk the horn.

Mommy was there to make sure that Evan didn't push the door too hard and fall out of the truck.

Toilet Paper Monster

Whenever Evan sneezes we usually run to get a tissue or some toilet paper to wipe his nose. He has started going to the bathroom to get the toilet paper himself, but he hasn't quite figured out that he needs to tear off a small piece. Instead, he just walks and keeps pulling until he runs out of paper on the roll!

Cookies and Cousins

Emily, Evan and Mason enjoying the nice weather and a cookie on the back porch.

"Helping" get brownies out of the oven with the oven mitt.

Fishing for some Cheerios.

Evan just finished crying about something. He was probably told that he has to wait until he finishes eating the bite in his mouth before he puts in another bite.

Playing with his cell phone.
