24 weeks

It has been so awesome because just within the last couple of days, Nick has finally been able to feel the baby moving around. I place his hand on my belly where the baby is kicking or punching and Nick can feel it. It really means a lot to him to be able to feel the baby moving around. We've got the nursery furniture as well as the bedding ordered, so we are anxiously waiting to see how everything looks. We are going to pick out a color for the nursery walls once we decide for sure what the bedding will look like. Now I guess we need to get busy clearing everything out of that room so that we can make it into a nursery!

Ultrasound

I was 22 weeks along for my first and probably only ultrasound. What an absolutely amazing experience! My parents and Nick's grandparents were all there to witness "Baby Snickersbar" moving around in my belly. Up until that point, I didn't think that I had felt the baby move yet. As the ultrasound technician was pushing on my stomach, I could definitely feel the baby moving. We were all just in awe of the little miracle growing inside of me. We have decided not to find out the sex because we want to be surprised when we finally get to meet our precious baby.

Hi everyone!

Nick and I have decided to start our own blog since we are expecting our first child in November. Many of our friends and family members have blogs to keep us updated, so we decided it was time to start one of our own. We felt that it would be a great way for our friends and families who live so far away to keep up with our growing family.
