Brotherly Love

Gathering Firewood

Mowing and Raking the Front Field

The front yard was once a BMX track that the previous owners rarely used and allowed to become completely overgrown with thick grass and knee-high weeds. There were several big bumps or hills in the yard, which made it even more difficult to mow. One of our new neighbors across the street stopped by one day and offered to cut the yard/field with his tractor and bush hog. After he cut down all of the thick weeds, Nick went back over the yard with a lawn mower. It took us half of a day to rake and pick up the excess grass, but it sure does look so much better!

One of our nice neighbors used his tractor to mow the overgrown field in front of our house.

Evan was playing in the yard, watching Daddy rake up the grass.

Daddy was raking the grass that had been cut.

Evan was trying to help rake up the grass.

It looks much more like a yard now that it was been mowed.
Grant watched Daddy and Evan work outside.

Fireplace Screen and Doors

Evan was helping Daddy install the new fireplace screen and glass doors.

Grant was playing with his giraffe while Daddy and Evan worked.

Evan wanted to measure things like Daddy.

He kept saying "48, 48, 48"

The new fireplace screen and doors.

I'm stuck!

The boys were playing well together.

Evan got his new toilet training seat stuck around his head.

The new toilet training seat was on the bed for some reason and Evan was able to reach it. When he woke up from his nap he decided to put it on his head and it got stuck. Silly boy!

Birthday and Baptism

Sunday, November 11th was a very busy day. We had Grant baptized in the morning and then had Evan's 2nd birthday party at our house in the afternoon.

The boys were waiting for breakfast.
