We went back to the hospital a couple of days after we were discharged to check in with the lactation specialist. She wanted to see how we were doing and if I was having any trouble feeding Grant. When we left the hospital on Sunday, Grant weighed 8 pounds. When she weighed him on Tuesday, he had gained back 4 ounces, putting him almost back up to his birth weight. He obviously was not having any difficulty with eating!
