One of the Moving Days

We were supposed to close on our house on May 11, so we had arranged for my brother to bring his truck and trailer up on the first weekend in May to move as much of the big things as possible. We ended up moving almost everything out of the house that weekend except for our beds, clothes and toiletries and some food. We couldn't completely move out of the house yet because we still had to paint a few rooms in the townhouse and we didn't want the boys to smell the fumes. It was a bit frustrating at times to have all of our things in one place while we were staying in another.

Mamaw and the boys were watching the big boys load all of the big furniture onto the trailer.

Mamaw was sitting on the last chair that was left in the house. Everything else was moved to the townhouse.

What is left of Evan's room. Since we were still sleeping there for a few more days, we left his crib but took just about everything else.

The couch was loaded and the dining room table was next. Evan was excited that there was so much space in the living room for him to run around.

The big boys were loading up some of the furniture onto the trailer.

Papaw took a break to hold his newest grandson.

Evan tried to sit in the infant car seat. It wasn't that long ago that he used to fit in that seat.

Evan wanted to know what the baby was doing.
